WB LUMINARE

Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: 11 February 2026

For these Terms, any reference to “WB Luminare”, “we”, “us”, or “our” refers to Wilhelm Burger trading as WB Luminare, including any current or future employees and contractors.

1. Our Role

WB Luminare provides flight booking and management services as an independent intermediary.

We are not an airline, do not operate flights, and are not IATA or ASATA-accredited.

The contract of carriage is always between the Client and the Airline.

All bookings are made through a licensed third-party booking platform. (IATA & ASATA member)

Tickets are issued by the authorised provider, and we forward your e-ticket to you.

2. Services and Fees

Booking Service Fee: Charged for sourcing, facilitating, and booking the flight. The service fee includes any margin applied to the ticket price. The service fee is non-refundable once the booking is successfully completed.

The only situation where the service fee is refunded is if full payment has been made but we are unable to complete the booking due to fare changes, and the client requests a refund. In that case, the full amount paid, including the service fee, will be refunded.

Administration Fee: Charged per passenger for assisting with post-booking requests such as cancellations, date changes, refunds, or name corrections. These fees are in addition to any airline penalties or fare differences and are non-refundable.

Fees are communicated before payment, and full payment is required before your booking is completed and the e-ticket forwarded.

3. Flight Quotes and Bookings

All quotes and invoices are based on fares and availability at the time they are provided and may change at any time.

Airfares, baggage allowances, penalties, and refund rules are set solely by the Airline.

Once a booking is confirmed and payment has been received, the transaction is considered completed, and the booking service fee becomes non-refundable, except in the limited situation described above (unable to complete booking due to fare changes).

If the price changes before payment or before the booking is completed, we will notify the client immediately. The client may then choose to:

  • Pay the difference, or

  • Cancel the booking and receive a full refund of the amount paid, including the service fee.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

Refund eligibility is determined by the Airline’s fare rules.

Administration Fees apply for all refund, cancellation, or change requests, regardless of whether the Airline approves the refund.

Refund timelines are determined by the Airline and ticketing provider; we are not liable for delays outside our control.

5. Travel Documents

All visas, passports, travel insurance, and other related/required documentation remain the responsibility of the client and should be arranged directly with the appropriate providers. Please ensure you check visa requirements for all transit points on your itinerary, as some countries may require a transit visa even if you are not leaving the airport.

We do not provide passport, travel insurance and visa services and are not responsible for denied boarding, refusal of entry, or deportation.

6. Airline Operations

Airlines may change schedules, aircraft, routing, or cancel flights.

We communicate changes when notified but are not liable for delays, cancellations, overbooking, or other airline operational decisions.

7. Liability

Our liability is limited to the Service Fees and Administration Fees paid by the Client.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or travel disruption caused by the Airline.

Clients indemnify us against claims arising from Airline actions.

8. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our control, including natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, government restrictions, or system outages.

9. Consumer Protection

Flight bookings are time-sensitive; fares and availability may change rapidly.
Once your booking is completed and the e-ticket forwarded, the transaction is considered complete, and the booking service fee is non-refundable (except in the limited situation where we are unable to complete the booking due to fare changes, and the client requests a refund).
By making payment, the Client acknowledges and accepts these Terms and Conditions.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, with disputes falling under South African courts.
