Interpretation: For the purposes of this Privacy Notice, any reference to “WB LUMINARE”, “we”, “us”, or “our” refers to Wilhelm Burger trading as WB LUMINARE, including any current or future employees, agents, or contractors.

We act as the Responsible Party for any Personal Information collected from Clients in the course of providing flight booking and management services.

We may collect and process the following Personal Information:

  • Payment confirmations and financial information

  • Special service requests related to travel


4. Purpose and Legal Basis for Processing

We collect and process Personal Information to:

  • Facilitate flight reservations and bookings

  • Send confirmed e-ticket issued from a trusted third-party booking platform to Clients

  • Assist with processing changes, cancellations, or refunds

  • Communicate booking updates and relevant information

  • Comply with legal, regulatory, and financial obligations

Personal Information is processed based on:

  • Contractual necessity: to perform flight booking services

  • Legal compliance: fulfilling obligations under law

  • Consent: where applicable


5. Mandatory Information

Certain Personal Information, such as full names and passport details, is required to complete flight bookings. If required information is not provided, we may be unable to process the booking.


6. Sharing of Personal Information

We share Personal Information only with Airlines and relevant service providers to facilitate bookings.

Some service providers may operate outside South Africa, and cross-border transfers may occur when necessary to complete a booking.

We do not sell Personal Information to any third parties.


7. Security Safeguards

We implement reasonable technical measures to protect Personal Information from loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.Please note that no electronic system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.


8. Retention of Information

We retain Personal Information only as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law, including for tax and financial record-keeping.


9. Data Subject Rights

Under POPIA, Clients have the right to:

  • Request access to their Personal Information

  • Request correction of inaccurate information

  • Request deletion of information where legally permissible

  • Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator

10. Third-Party Processing

Some Personal Information may be processed through secure third-party booking and payment systems we use to facilitate flight reservations. These third parties are contractually required to maintain appropriate security standards.
