Returns & Refunds / Cancellation Policy
This Returns & Refunds Policy sets out your rights and our practices regarding returns, refunds and cancellations for orders placed via the Website.
1. Cooling-off / Cancellation Rights
1.1. Under the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (“ECTA”), you have the right to cancel an electronic transaction (or credit agreement related to it) within 7 days after receipt of the Goods, without reason, subject to the conditions below.
1.2. If your Order resulted from direct marketing, you may cancel within 5 business days after delivery (per CPA section 16).
1.3. To exercise cancellation, you must notify us in writing (e.g. email) before the 7-day period expires.
1.4. You must return the Goods in the same condition (unopened, unused, in original packaging) at your cost, unless otherwise stated.
1.5. We will refund your purchase price (excluding original delivery fee) within 15 business days of cancellation notice, after we receive the returned Goods.
2. Returns for Defects, Faults or Incorrect Goods
2.1. If the Goods are defective, damaged, materially different from the description, or incorrectly delivered, you may return them within 6 months of delivery under the implied warranty in the CPA.
2.2. You may choose a refund, repair or replacement (supplier’s choice), unless one remedy is impossible or disproportionate.
2.3. We shall bear the cost of returning the Goods in such cases (i.e. we will pay return courier).
2.4. You must notify us of the defect or issue within a reasonable time after discovering it, providing evidence (photos, description) where possible.
3. Conditions & Exclusions
3.1. We do not accept returns or cancellations for change of mind (unless legally required or voluntarily provided) once the 7-day period expires.
3.2. We will refuse returns if the Goods have been used, damaged by you, or the packaging is missing/destroyed (unless the defect is with the product).
3.3. Goods that cannot be returned due to health, hygiene or safety reasons (e.g. sealed skin-care containers once opened) may be excluded from returns (unless defective).
3.4. If you request a refund in a currency different from your payment, exchange rate differences may apply.
4. Return Process
4.1. Contact us by email at sales@wbluminare.co.za within the applicable return window, stating your Order number, reason for return, and relevant evidence (photo).
4.2. We will issue you a return authorization and provide instructions and a return shipping address.
4.3. You must securely package the Goods to prevent damage during transit.
4.4. Once we receive and inspect the Goods, we will notify you of the outcome (refund, repair, replacement).
4.5. Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 15 business days via the original payment method.
5. Refund of Delivery Fee
If the return is due to our error (defect, wrong item), we will refund the delivery fee as well. If you are cancelling under the 7-day cooling-off for change of mind, we are not legally required to refund the delivery cost (unless we voluntarily do so).
